Title: I Game Validator Post by: SilverFerret on December 07, 2012, 08:54:52 PM Lately my validator has been getting sluggish accepting cash and has given some errors but after pulling it out and putting it back in, it's worked. Now it seems to struggle to accept bills and then spits them back out without registering them. Any ideas what need to be done to correct this issue?

Also I've gotten some comm errors from the bill validator. Does it need to be clear chipped again to get this one working? Sometimes you will have to go into set up and calculate the CRC, it's no big deal.

It seems to be operating a bit better since a little oiling but it just wont accept bills where before today, it would accept everything but the new $5's and $10's. There are no errors and I calculated the crc (whatever that does) and alse did the bill validator test and even though it says it will accept the next bill, it doesn't. My limited experience is frustrating but it's just another page in my mental rolodex. Do not use a paper towel, paper is made from wood and wood will scratch the plastic optics.

One sticker says wba-12-ss, and another says wba-12/13-ss Where are the optics? Are they right before the bill goes into the stacker box? If so they're hard to get at. Would a Q-tip work? Everything seems to be in order accept it won't register the bills and gives them right back. Hey Buzz, did you ever find out anything about the program "American Thunder"? Also did you check to see if you had any players club devices for a "17 I Game or a cover plate for where players club stuff would go? I am getting a lot of stacker errors when putting it back in and have to re-insert it sometimes a couple of times before it loads up correctly.
