Title: Payout question Post by: emt232004 on December 11, 2012, 04:47:31 PM I am looking for a new machine and saw this one that states it accepts vouchers, coupons, or bills and payment as voucher or coin, all awards in credit unless otherwise stated.
Does this mean it does not accept coin to play but pays out in either coin or ticket and only takes tickes and bills to play? The person selling was not around to ask but would it be possible for it to play off of coin ticket and bills and pay out in ticket or bills? Now that I am home and have a closer look it appears the ticket printer was covered/removed but that can be replaced i'm sure? I was thinking for some reason that once the tickets came along that all payouts were on tickets?

It looks like the machines have the coin shelf but it would depend on if they have the hopper, coin comparitor, etc inside the machine. The Bally 6000 can be ticket out, coin out, or both (split pay) depending on how it is set up.
Title: Re: Payout question Post by: emt232004 on December 11, 2012, 05:17:54 PM Thanks. That was the information I hoped to find.
I've got a 5500 already not sure if I want another one, or a 6000 or an IGT. The red white and blue has been catching my eye but they seem over priced in this area. Title: Re: Payout question Post by: crgadyk on December 11, 2012, 05:43:49 PM Its definitely personal preference... I have a couple IGT S2000s and I just got 2 Bally 6000 machines. Both are a lot different and I like them both for different reasons.
Bally machines definitely have better sound where my S2000 have better gameplay IMO I had a red white and blue machine and I'd advise against it if you want to play it a lot. I got bored quickly with it and sold it after less than a year. I see you are in the ohio/michigan area, luckily we have a lot of options on where to get machines in this area. I'm about 20 minutes south of downtown Cincinnati and I know of at least 10 different places to get slots within an hour of me. If you ever need help finding a machine, I'm sure I can help you out. |
