Vision Flash disk problem « on: May 19, 2008, 12:44:26 PM » -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I have a Bonus Spin RW & B flash disk that I copied for a back-up. I put it back in and now it will not boot up. (See Pic.) Does anyone know what the problem might be? I can play the sound files and view the reel bonus pictures on my laptop so some of the files are OK. The group of files are DATA (21 files), ATA10054 14 files & 8 folders) BGM00011 (50 files). It was playing fine before. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Blueridgeslots Re: Vision Flash disk problem « Reply #1 on: May 19, 2008, 02:08:36 PM » -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Yeap, see what happens when you play with the flash files, Good news, it is repairable, a repairman in a box will be sent to you, but he is sworn to keep his lips sealed Railroad94 Re: Vision Flash disk problem « Reply #2 on: May 19, 2008, 05:41:21 PM » -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- OK Ron...lets hear it You are living up to Ricks saying "I void warranties" r273 Re: Vision Flash disk problem « Reply #3 on: May 19, 2008, 06:20:04 PM » -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Quote from: Railroad94 on May 19, 2008, 05:41:21 PM OK Ron...lets hear it You are living up to Ricks saying "I void warranties" Yeah that right. . I've got the Vision LCD out of mine right now (enjoying the Haywire Deluxe group buy kit), and was gonna pop the card in my laptop and back it up/see what's on it. Maybe I won't do that after all. Any idea what happened? Does it do a checksum on the image, which got hosed by Winblows creating the System Volume Information and Recycler directories? Oh, and how did you get the boot sequence to show on the LCD? My LCD always stayed dark until the bonus game came up. rickhunter Re: Vision Flash disk problem « Reply #5 on: May 19, 2008, 08:38:52 PM » -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Use Linux to image your cards!!! Tux does not void warranties. Tux does not void warranties. I was going to suggest DOS. There are copies that will recognize USB (if that's how you're connecting). DOS won't mess with the data on the drive either. brichter Re: Vision Flash disk problem « Reply #7 on: May 19, 2008, 08:51:34 PM » -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Linux for the win!! |
