Title: Bally Monte Carlo s6000 candle help Post by: o1cbc on December 15, 2012, 02:19:17 AM Hi everyone I have a little problem I have a Bally s6000 and when i bought it the candle was not on the machine. I bought one from Rudys for the Bally machine so it just needed to be plugged in. I plugged it in and then pressed the change button to see if it would light up and I got nothing so I tested the light bulbs to make sure they were good and they were. I then opened the front door to see if the other light would work and it began flashing but then I seen smoke start coming out of the door area so I quickly shut the power off and I was able to locate the chip that burnt up. Not sure if anyone can tell me what the cause was and if the chip is even what controls the candle. I since turned the power back and everything is working just fine except for the candle. I was wondering if anyone would know if I could solder a new chip (not sure of the proper name) or am I better off without the candle. Its not really that big of a deal. The pics are the chip that burnt up.
Thanks Brad Title: Re: Bally Monte Carlo s6000 candle help Post by: o1cbc on December 15, 2012, 02:22:35 AM More pics of the board.
