Title: Clearing Credits Post by: DF777 on December 17, 2012, 04:41:50 PM Hi,
I just purchased an S+ and was cleaning it up and playing around to see how it works. I was testing the Bill Acceptor and as I thought it would not take the colored notes. Anyway I tried a $100 and it took it giving me 400 credits.I took the $100 bill out of the stacker and was playing the credits and kept winning.I am at 500+ credits and it wont cash out . I want to get the credits to zero and have it spit out coins on wins as it is a Christmas gift for my wife. Title: Re: Clearing Credits Post by: knagl on December 18, 2012, 05:19:28 AM Why won't it cash out? What happens when you press the cash out (or "cash/credit") button?
Is there a hopper in the machine with quarters in it? Please tell us exactly what it is or isn't doing so we can help you better. Title: Re: Clearing Credits Post by: DF777 on December 18, 2012, 06:40:19 AM The hopper does have coins in it,maybe not enough to pay out the total amount of credits.I could put more in
If that is the problem. The cash/credit button does nothing when pressed and does not light up. I think it cashed out before I put the $100.00 bill in .Is there a way I can reset it and zero out the credits ? Thanks, Title: Re: Clearing Credits Post by: knagl on December 18, 2012, 08:20:56 AM Short of using a clear chip (don't), you need to get the hopper to pay out the 596 credits you have on the machine (or keep playing until you eventually lose them).
Can you please check inside the door to see if the cherry switch for the Cash/Credit button is actually getting pressed when you press the button on the player panel? You can use one of the other working switches as a visual reference to compare the switches. A common trick for home use is to "disable" the button by slightly popping out the cherry switch from the back to prevent accidental cashouts. The previous owner must have took it off as it was a tight fit when I put it back on. Cashed out credits OK Thanks for your help |
