Title: ALPHA Quick Hits with minor issues
Post by: lindam1 on December 19, 2012, 03:18:15 PM
1. Top Bezel lights up in diagnostic, but will not light during game play.

2. Button deck is setup properly for this machine (see pics) but bottom row buttons don't work properly: 1 does nothing, 2 is 30¢, 3 is 60¢, 4 is 90¢ & 5 is $1.20 Max Bet brings it to $1.50

3. It came with a Gen2 printer but doesn't seem to like it.

Thanks for any help, Lindsay

When you were doing setup did you pick 14 button deck from the choices and save it.

Also for the printer...what jurisdiction chip are you running?

I can chime in on what Coors says about it being set up for 14 buttons.  Had the same issue with the button deck assignments when I swapped in a different game kit and had programmed improperly.  Cleared it, started over using the 14 button assignment, and all was well.  I was having the same issue you were.

I'm not positive, but I swear my choices for the buttons were 5 & 11 only

As for the chip Calf Tribal

You need to check that, you have a 14 button deck for sure and need to.set it to that.  If it does not offer that choice, you have software missmatch.

Or you just buy a 5 button deck and change it with the game.
About 10 nuts and three two connectors. 20 min the first time you change one 8 min the second time.

I have a 5 button deck I can sell. Can't ship until after the New Year.

Coors,
Any thoughts on the top bezel not working or the B/V
