Title: FANS ON ALPHA
Post by: FORDSBS on December 19, 2012, 05:07:51 PM
When you shop an alpha make sure you take all fans out to clean. There are a LOT of fans in them.
The one I'm working on I took an air hose with shop air & blew out. You think you got most dirt out, NO WAY.
This is what it had in after I pulled it apart after blowing it out..

That is why
I broke down and bought a professional computer vacuum kit with all the attachments to clean all those little blades, nooks and crannys.. Beside, if you take an air hose to the inside of a dirty alpha....you will be covered from head to toe with dust, it will look like the vacuum cleaner bag exploded!!

You better believe it. I found out. That is why I did cleanup @ shop instead of house. Sally would have thrown me & game out.
