Title: Disabling sound
Post by: DF777 on December 19, 2012, 07:33:12 PM
I have an IGT S+ RWB
I would like to be able to turn off the sound as I know a certain member of my household will want
to play in the middle of the night but will not want to disturb anyone.
I was thinking about adding a small toggle switch near the speaker and bridging one of the speaker wires.
Has anyone done this before ? Does it matter what wire I cut ?  :99-

There is already a volume knob on the MPU, just turn it way down.

I know about the volume knob.I didn't want to have to open up the machine to temporarily turn off the sound.

A small size bath towel stuffed in one corner of the coin tray does wonders for muffling sounds.

This might work on an S-2000 but it might not on a S+  :60-

Ron  They say the second thing that goes is your mind. You must be going into your third stage.  Question of the day " Where is the speaker located on a IGT S+ Slot Machine ?" ( Bet you wish now you had kept at least one)   :103- :103- :207-

Ok.  :131-    The speaker on a S-2000 IS in the coin tray and the speaker for the S+ is located just ABOVE  the coin tray.  You have to put the towel on the right side of the coin tray for a S-2000 and on the left side of the S+.

That's what confusing.  :5-  And thats my story and I am sticking to it :72- You did not tell him which side to set the towel on.  :103-
Besides I am in my third stage not the second. :97-

Here we go, the age old question. Which is the left side of a machine ??   OK I know, the opposite side from the right.

Nice.  That's a nice hidden add-on for your machine.  Thanks for the idea and picture.
