Title: Question about enhanced S2000 boards Post by: slotdeals on December 19, 2012, 11:03:10 PM I will probably butcher this but keep in mind I am not a tech just looking for some info if you guys have any input.... lately we have been having a ton of issues with the enhanced boards. They will work when they leave out shop... when they get to the customer there dead in the water and we typically have to send out new boards. Didnt know if anyone had any advice of making their reliability more substanable..
THanks, Chris Title: Re: Question about enhanced S2000 boards Post by: cowboygames on December 19, 2012, 11:17:33 PM The primary problem you're gonna run into with those boards is a low or dead green 3 cell battery. I'd look at the voltage on the ones coming back

Especially where humidity is less than 70% Also as Cowboy said, that green battery does leak and form a blue corrosion that kills the traces. I have destroyed one board getting the battery off, when replaced it seems to cure most of the problems.
