Title: Key chip and missing options
Post by: teamclark4 on December 23, 2012, 10:32:27 PM
I've searched thru this forum from multiple angles; and can't seem to find the exact answer to my problem. So i'm breaking down and asking.  :99-

So i have a 90 credit  s2000 Triple Red Hot 7's 5-reel with the SB924 chip and 42 audio simm.  I have a clear 97 chip and a key 31 chip. I've cleared the ram, keyed the machine, have it up and running. Now i'm looking to fine tune a few things and i can't seem to get to the right menu option.. Also, I have the s2000 manual that i'm becoming very familiar with.  :186-

1)  Change the sound volume:  I see in previous threads, and in my trusty manual, that it's options menu 3.  Within that option is the sound volume options i'm looking for; and also the "adjust reel spin and stop sounds" which may end up being a whole other issue as i've seen a few threads about that. I do not have menu 3 anywhere   :37- ... If i key the machine i only get config options 7.1 and 7.2.. If i turn the jackpot reset key i only get options 1 , 2 , 4 ...

I'm hoping there is a key chip / jackpot key combination that i'm just not doing that will be the answer.. OR   am i not seeing all the options because of the key chip 31 (maybe i should use a 45 ? ) or am i not seeing all the options because of the SB924 game chip needs to be switched with a different version ?

Any help would be appreciated..  It is driving me crazy..

You don't use a keychip to access menu 3. Just open the door and push the white button on the MPU below the light tree then, without closing the door use the cashout button to get to menu 3
