Title: New to me 6000 Post by: emt232004 on December 25, 2012, 11:01:13 PM Got a bally 6000 bonus times as a gift and have a few questions. It seems to have a loud hummmm when plugged in and sitting idle is this normal? The bill validator seems slow and sluggish, when I first took delivery of the machine it had a 5.5 error code of the bill validator stack missing?, not sure what I did but it cleared and is working-possibly one in the same or is it just slow?

I think I read here that you can only get these things to print tickets and not accept them?
Would a Future Logic Ticket Printer Model PSA-66ST , S.R.2.4.0 work? Title: Re: New to me 6000 Post by: emt232004 on December 25, 2012, 11:07:59 PM One thing I forgot to mention the handle will not pull it only runs off the buttons. When a credit is accepted it clicks like it wants to release but does not become free?

Title: Re: New to me 6000 Post by: emt232004 on January 16, 2013, 02:11:36 AM Thanks. It appears I am 3 inches short. I can just cut and splice right?
Title: Re: New to me 6000 Post by: DF777 on January 16, 2013, 02:22:19 AM You should have plenty off slack.I just bought 2 6000's and they came with the printers in them. They both are wired the same.I wouldn't splice until you know that you have the correct wiring harness.
Title: Re: New to me 6000 Post by: emt232004 on January 16, 2013, 03:07:24 AM It looks to be the correct harnss maybe I am missing a trick to it, another member pointed out I had to feed it out the bottom not the back of the unit that gained about half the distance I needed see attached photo. It seems the same distance needed if I run the harness over or under the board
Title: Re: New to me 6000 Post by: DF777 on January 16, 2013, 03:32:11 AM The main printer cable connects to CBL-20302-0001 with a white 12 pin connector and the other end goes on the back board. It also has another white 2 pin connector that the secondary printer cable connects to.I don't have a camera at the moment.

Title: Re: New to me 6000 Post by: emt232004 on January 24, 2013, 12:22:44 AM A few questions, anyone know what the attached photo connects to, my guess would be player tracking since it is on top of the machine?
Next a few questions about the 11d machine options. 77A 77B Site location 77C label Is there another way to enter text to print on the voucher other than to sit and take the time to do it in these options? |
