Title: Player Tracking what do you want to see
Post by: zarobhr on January 09, 2013, 06:53:51 PM
Hey guys, I am well into getting my player tracking online.
it will require a PC as the back end, it will communicate over a network
can use serial ports to communicate with non player tracking machines as well
Full TITO, AFT, EFT transaction as long as your machines support it
right now it will only work with the readers\keypads\display from mastercomm 250 setup
there will be a charge for hardware . software license will be limited to the number of hardware device you purchase
(sry its gotta be this way to keep the unscrupulous from coping and useing in a live casino invironment with proper lisensing

Before i release I would like to know what features you would like to see in Player tracking
let me know.
as it gets closer to release i will have the costs of the hardware together and start accepting orders so everything can be purchased and assemble for you

thanks
Robert

Hi Robert!

Here are some ideas (some of these have already been mentioned by other NLG members) ...

  • Customizable messages on display when card is inserted
  • Name recognition on display when card is inserted
  • Options to add "free play" credits to the machine from the card
  • Removing the card before the "free play" session is done allows remaining credits to play on another machine
  • COIN IN tracking while card is inserted (and other COIN metrics) <--Not sure I'd use this
  • Allow admin to post credits to player while playing with the card inserted
  • Tournament results while card is inserted

LOL!  Yeah, sounds like Robert's made great progress.  I was trying to think of as much as I could for him.  This is cool stuff.  :Dave

1. it will have customizable message lenght scrolling etc will be a factor
2. will be done
3. already doing that have hard coded right now when a card is inserted credits are applied to machine (AFT or EFT a must) but will be customizable
4. doing already hardcoded if remove card then credts are transfered back to server (AFT or EFT a must) not all machines support transfer back to Host
5. bills and tickets tracked, coins wagered tracked coins won tracked, cashouts tracked already and displayed on screen per machine, can put resets for those counters when a card is inserted and store to a database record when card is removed
6. allowing admin to post credits to mahcine is already there with or without card
7. HMM this maybe tricky since i have to tournament enabled machines to test with

Now remember the card just has a number. no vital information is actually stored on the card. when card is inserted the number is sent to host and then host sends back the name to display

would all this be able to work with this type of tracking system? :103- :103- :103-

it will require a PC as the back end, it will communicate over a network

Would this be wireless or able to be?
