Replaced battery on my Game Magic. Checked the battery again to make sure it was reading 3.6. Read perfect. Now when I turn the machine on all I get is a black screen. If I take the board out and turn themachine on I get a blue screen. I even tested the board in my Game maker and on the Game Maker the screen came up black!! I believe this Game Magic board is the problem. When I first bought the machine and powered it up with the old battery it read Saferam Fail-Reset. I cleared the machine and same message came up. This problem only started after I installed the new battery. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!

Did you install the battery backwards?

I checked. The battery is on correct. I will post a picture of the board.

Where are all the program chips and graphic chips for that board?
In your picture all those are missing.

If its a game magic , it doesnt use those chips its a hard drive based game, Send a pic of inside of game should have hard drive on right, Is green lite on on hard drive ?

Here are some pictures. Once again when I put the board in and turn on machine I get a black screen but all the green lites on the board come on. Nothing comes on the hard drive. If I turn the machine on without the board the screen comes on blue and on the hard drive the lite flickers sort of a yellow a few times then goes off.

I got the Game Magic going. The bad news is my Odyssey went down for the count!!
