Hi All

Need some help please. Got some printer paper from BHinkley and dug up a printer thats been in storage for years which amazingly still works (or at least prints test ticket).
Unfortunately I dont have harnesses. Can someone please meter (continuity test) which lead goes where from the Netplex port on the distribution board to where the 12 pin coiled cable plugs into the printer.

I have the Gen2 manual which gives the 12 pin (Netplex) and 14Pin (RS232) pinouts at the other end of the coiled cable that normally comes with the printer but it does not show where on the 12 pin on the printer itself these go.

Ok I think I have most of the connections sorted.

The only thing I need to double check is where does pin 5 of the 10 pin molex that plugs into distribution board  terminate on on the 12 pin plug on the coiled cable that plugs into printer.

Thanks Foster - I already have the manual but it does not show the wiring diagram of the coiled cable. I am trying to establish if pin 5 (Netplex VCC) connects to the printer

I looked in my parts bin for the top box printer harness which plugs into Power Dist Board and the vendor supplied printer harness plugs into it (basically same as printer connection behind reels)

Vcc is not connected

Netplex 10 pin (pwr dist board)     8 pin  to printer harness

3    MReset                                 1
4    Netplex RxD                          4
5    NC
6   13 VDC                                   3
7   AGND                                     5
