how do I adjust volume on a slant up single line , two coin{quarter} Double dimond?

Should be a manual blue dial on the edge of the MPU board.

I'll  unlock the lid and raise it up and look for a blue dial because i son't know what a mpu board is? :103- Im the mean time i did get to the speakers behind the top glass and disconected the left one. Now the right  speaker is on a low setting i can live with , or just blown, but its a perfect volume.  :89- So if I don't see a blue dial i'll leave it the way it is...Thank-you

There are two main boards for the S+
They are the same regardless if you have a slant top, chop top, 16" or Round top.

One is the fixed (screwed to the cabinet) board. Its small - about 6inches wide by about 3inches deep. This is the Motherboard.
Typically you don't do much with this board. (More later).

The MPU is the removeable board - In the upright version this is in a metal tray with a big black knob on the outside.
So to get to the MPU - I need to remove my hopper, then lift the big knop upwards and then the board (in the metal tray comes out).
On the edge of the board (that protrudes through the tray you have a little wheel that can be adjusted).
This controls the volume.

On the MPU board by changing the game and reel chips (2 chips) you can convert your game into any of the available S+ themes.
THese chips are socketed so with nothing more than a kitchen table and a flat screwdriver you can remove the chips and insert new ones.
If you have a 2 coin game - this can become a 5 coin game of a totally different theme - of course you will want/need to change your glass and reel strips too but its a quick change. I would recommend you click on Ricks FAQ's and check out some of the threads and of course the IGT game bible to get a list of themes and which chips perform the transformation.

WIth regards to the motherboard - these contain one important chip called the CMOS - we have seen on rare occasions this chip has gone bad and it will need to be replaced. I have 3xS+'s all more than 20+ years and I have owned my machines for about 7 years. I never had to touch mine - the good news is this is not a part that you can expect to die anytime soon.

Also once you get in deep in this hoppy and your machines start to multiply you can add fun things to them such as a progressive jackpot that grows with each coin insrted or like myself I have 4 machines sharing a linked progressive and a 20' sign over my bar. The progressives plug into a small connector on the mother board.
