appears  to be a after market Western Money System cable.  have never seen a cable like that on a factory S+.  that cable does deliver the data to the display.  I assume the bill acceptor is out of order and not repairable.

If memory serves me correctly, I think they ran a cable from the front door to plug into that cable to deliver the data to the display inside their faceplate.

Your option would be :  remove the reel shelf, and replace with a factory shelf, replace the short glass with a factory long glass, and purchase a display, and plug it in using the factory harness. I think you will also need a long fluorescent tube holder that would extend over the length of the glass.

the other option,  figure out which pins are used for the display,( trace the wire from the display back to the connector on the bottom of the unit, establish what 4 or 5 pins are needed  and replace that cable connector)  or see if anyone has saved an old harness from a machine that had a western money system.

then you will have an S+, Triple Diamond machine.

Hope this helps
