Title: DBV-200 for IGT machine Post by: cevers on February 13, 2013, 12:33:07 AM I'm sure this has probaly been discussed before but since I am new to all of this I'm going to ask again. I have a IGT machine, it had a DBV-45 in it and I changed it out to a DBV-200. What chip do I need for the current currency like the 5's? Does the SH mean anything like the one in this link http://www.8linesupply.com/p/jcm-dbv-200-sh-new-5-currency-update.html

Title: Re: DBV-200 for IGT machine Post by: cevers on February 13, 2013, 05:16:27 PM Okay I emailed JCM to see what they had to say about the software. They said that the software software. V2.70-11 does accept the next generation $5 (2006 Series) notes. So if I'm correct aren't the current 5's the 2006 series? They were designed in 2006 but not released till 2008. If this is true does anyone know where to get the eprom?

http://www.newmoney.gov/currency/images.htm (http://www.newmoney.gov/currency/images.htm) Looks like your statement is correct that the latest $5 was the 2006 series but was not released to 2008....
