Title: IGT Fortune I (I think) has issues Post by: xanadu on February 14, 2013, 09:27:53 PM I just picked this machine up today. On power up the monitor is garbled, flashing cards and random graphics. At the same time the coin counter and coin mech relays are going nuts and cycling rapidly. I'm thinking there may be a voltage issue somewhere?

I recapped the game board and that resolved the garbled graphics/rebooting issue, it now powers up and is 100% stable. The monitor needs some work as it is scrolling, but I'll tackle that later. It appears that the interface board isn't responding, the game powers up and comes up to the "Insert coin" screen but won't take any inputs from any source. No coin up, none of the user buttons, jackpot reset switches or anything will respond. As an aside, the coin reject relay is not being energized. I checked the voltage to interface board (D Conn_6, pin 1) and (E_Conn_6, pin 1) and they appear to be correct. What is this small relay board for?
