Title: Some info on 5-Line kits and light boxes Post by: 5 ACES on March 09, 2009, 01:14:48 AM I'm looking for one the following: $.25 Triple Cherry 3 Coin 1 Line Kit / $.25 Cats n Dogs 5 Coin 3 Reel, 5 Payline Kit. My machine is an S+ ROUND TOP WITH BV. I would also be interested if the kits included the inserts for the reel glass.
Also, $.25 Triple Triple Diamond 5 Coin 3 Reel, 5 Payline Kit/ $.25 5 Times Pay 5 Coin 3 Reel, 5 Payline Kit Preferably, any 5 Coin/3 Reel, 5 Payline Kit would be great!! Title: Re: Some info on 5-Line kits and light boxes Post by: StatFreak on March 09, 2009, 04:21:04 AM If you end up with a 5-line game, you might also want to get the stepper light bezel that goes behind the reel glass. It lights up each payline as you insert the coins. There is also a light bezel for 3-line games.

Yes. If you look carefully at the bundled harness on the door just under the change button, you will see a small, flat black six-pin female plug sticking out of the bundle. To install the unit the right way, you will also need a small steel bracket that attaches to two screw holes on the inside of the door just to the right of the reel glass. Your machine might already have the bracket. Here is a picture. I'm pointing at the bracket, and you can see the plug at the bottom of the picture. I don't have the lights installed right now because I don't have a line game in the machine. Title: Re: Some info on 5-Line kits and light boxes Post by: rickhunter on March 09, 2009, 02:54:14 PM The bracket is usually not there, you must buy it or make one. Also on your request, you are asking for 5 reel games, or are you asking for 5 payline games?
If you want a 5 reel game (and there are only a handful and very rare) you will also need the slimmer reels, a 5 reel shelf and the harnness for the 5 reel kit. You must also make sure your MPU board has all 5 reel drivers (some have empty sockets for them). If you are asking for kits with 5 paylines, then none of this applies, only the light kit if you want it. If anyone has the 5-line light stepper box and/or bracket, I'm in the market for one of those, too. :71- Title: Re: Some info on 5-Line kits and light boxes Post by: 5 ACES on March 09, 2009, 04:14:14 PM Based on discussion in another thread, he's looking for a three reel, five payline game kit (with reel glass). I was going to ask that question next. Since it seems a little difficult in finding a 5 payline game, I may have to get a 3 payline game instead. But today a few good hits on some 5 payline kit prospects, so hopefully I'll get a kit ordered this week. No one I have contacted as of yet has those games. I will probably end up getting the 5 times Pay in 5 Line, as those seem much easier to get. Talking with them tonight, I think they settled on the 5 times pay 5 line. I can get that kit now, but if you have one for sale and include in the price the inserts, I'll buy it from you. Let me know... Title: Re: Some info on 5-Line kits and light boxes Post by: blueridgeslots on March 10, 2009, 12:59:35 AM I don't have a Round Top Kit, but I do have the 95% software for it

Great Jim!! The right button says "Play Max Credits" so that one I don't need. The only one's I need are .25, Play 5 Coins, Pay's up to 1000 coins and the Insert Bills Below, which it looks like is already on the glass. Just quote me a price and I'll be on my way to my first game kit!! Also, if you can't find the "Play 5 Coins" sticker, that's no big deal... Title: Re: Some info on 5-Line kits and light boxes Post by: StatFreak on March 27, 2009, 03:19:13 PM If you end up with a 5-line game, you might also want to get the stepper light bezel that goes behind the reel glass. It lights up each payline as you insert the coins. There is also a light bezel for 3-line games. FYI ... Better off with the 5 line box will since it will also work for the 3 line. Sorry for the late addition to this thread. That depends on how much of a purist you are, because the area that lights up on the three-line reel glass is quite a bit wider than on the five-line reel glass, and the three-line light boxes are wider to match. The height is the same, but using a five-light box with a three-line glass will only partially light up the reel glass inserts and will create an obvious shadow. Here is comparison. I RENAMED & MOVED THE TOPIC TO S-PLUS REEL GAMES Title: Re: Some info on 5-Line kits and light boxes Post by: stayouttadabunker on March 27, 2009, 03:39:47 PM Those light shadow boxes I found, are extremely difficult to find... :5-

A 3 line and a 5 line box just showed up on eBay. They are each $30 with free shipping - little pricey if you ask me - but they seem hard to find and if you don't want to make your own - here's your chance! They both are a Buy It Now auction - so if you are interested - go get them! 3 line http://cgi.ebay.com/IGT-S-3-PAYLINE-STEPPER-LIGHT_W0QQitemZ380124124233 (http://cgi.ebay.com/IGT-S-3-PAYLINE-STEPPER-LIGHT_W0QQitemZ380124124233) 5 line http://cgi.ebay.com/IGT-S-3-PAYLINE-STEPPER-LIGHT_W0QQitemZ380124124233 (http://cgi.ebay.com/IGT-S-3-PAYLINE-STEPPER-LIGHT_W0QQitemZ380124124233) Dan #2 Title: Re: Some info on 5-Line kits and light boxes Post by: stayouttadabunker on May 14, 2009, 12:16:12 PM I know these are esp. made for IGT's...but I was thinking when I saw this...
