Title: Transporting Slot machines
Post by: WILDCHERRY21 on March 02, 2013, 11:30:46 AM
I'm thinking about picking up a couple slot machines a good distance away.. I'm wondering if there is anything wrong transporting them Laying down on their back rather than upright. One of them is a I game with LCD. May be a lame question but curious. Any thoughts? Thanks

Garett,
I usually remove hoppers and lay them on their back with no problems.

I've moved two of them with no issues at all except like a light came loose.  I would recommed you keep them covered.  I know when I picked them up I was surprised how big they actaully are.  I was glad the tonneau cover for the truck just fit over them.

For those who have a small SUV. I made a ramp for mine.
Holds up to a Denver Duck machine.

I know if I take the wing speaker off the non-handle side I can put one sideways across the back seat of my ridgeline and 3 more in the bed :71-

Year or so ago I did some trading with one of our members and he left here with (3) S 2000 in one of those little bitty shoe box SUV's. He just removed the top box's and loaded them upright.

If I was going to move a I Game or Game King on it's back I would remove the monitor from the machine.

That's the same way I fit 3 in the bed of my pickup Buzz. Works well, especially where top boxes are so easy to remove :89-

I do it the easy way, (10) will fit in my pickup and (26) on the car trailer.  Or (126) in a 53 foot trailer, without double stacking.

If the machines were running on coin or token, check and make sure none found their way under any circuit boards before firing up... :98- :98-
