Post by: Patricia on March 02, 2013, 09:40:15 PM
:103- I want to get a Bally's S6000 but the guy said it had an error code 88ff does anyone know what that code means?  I'm just a beginner at fixing slots. I don't want to get anything that is  to difficult to fix

A Ram Clear may fix it (need chips) if not MPU is bad

Code 88 is catastrophic failure of the MPU Board.
Probably needs a new MPU.
Or it might only need a clear and reset.

80% of the time a new battery & complete clear takes care of it.

That's what I was thinking but I don't have a 6000 so I wasn't 100% sure.
I was quoting the Manual.
