I installed a generic DSV00042 and don't get multimedia spin sounds or pay sounds. The option to select enhanced doesn't show in the sound menu. It does give the multimedia sounds when inserting money and when a special symbol hits the first reel, so I believe the SIMM/board is working. I have a whole bunch of different simms, if you want I can send you a handfull to experiment with, and when your finished just send them back.

If my memory serves me I think it is a SG000363. I will double check when I get home after work tonight. I replaced a Tabasco kit with this kit (Tabasco not for sale, sorry!). When I first installed it, I had left the Tabasco sound SIMM installed because I wasn't sure where the DSV00042 was located and the machine gave an error that an incompatible sound SIMM was installed...I will get the exact verbage tonight and post. So it was smart enough to realize the Tabasco SIMM was not correct... Dan #2 |
