Title: An AVP Mystery...thoughts requested Post by: dcslots on March 07, 2013, 03:35:36 PM Have a client with an AVP Upright, 2.0. For some reason, the reset key does not work/register. And all the doors register open, even though closed - main door, BV box door, etc..
He has changed boards, harnesses, IO, power supplies, etc. :103- I would have thought was a backplane issue or brain box issue, be he says these have been changed. :30- Anyone have any other ideas? This board also has a battery on it. Check to see if the battery is good. Are the Boot roms in the Brain Box the proper ones for the game on the hard drive? Has he tried clearing the machine using the proper e-key and then re-setting up the machine? Could be a corrupt hard drive.
