Title: not signal input on igt plus with 044 board Post by: lucky55 on March 11, 2013, 08:51:37 PM HELP
I bought a clear chip to change denominations and games on my slot. The clear chip worked fine, but went to to install the game chip I broke off one of the prongs I ordered a copy of the game chip and I got a no signal input. The person I bought the chip from said I didn't install the chip correctly Which may or not be true. I forgot the notch on the chip is supposed to to match the notch on the motherboard. Got another chip and and installed correctly, but still get the no signal input. The guy I got the chips from said he thought I blew something on the motherboard and he couldn't help me because he had no way to test the motherboard. Any help would be appreciated. That being said, i havent spent a lot of time shopping around for board repairs. You may find someone to do it for less than $75, but doubtful you'll find anyone under $50+shipping both ways. You might be better off to just buy a replacement??
