Title: Tech: Williams Slot dot matrix display issues Post by: pinball2000 on March 15, 2013, 02:21:39 PM Hello , thanks in advacne . have a winning streak slot and the display seems to be fuzzy and scroll. All dots seem good so i dont think its outgassed. Seems like a horiz hold issue on a crt. Wondering if anyone has ideas? thanks John Ross

Does it look like a black bar running through the picture or does the picture itself roll? If it's a black bar you probably have bad caps in the power supply. This should show up in the AC test. Seeing the display generates its own high voltage i guess its possible the display itself has bad caps.
