Title: Bally 5500 won't boot Post by: beauimpala on March 16, 2013, 02:38:58 AM Trying to help a friend out. He told me he had an 81 error on the screen. I know enough about these things that this means just a simple battery replacement. He told me he hadn't turned the game on for over a year, and this was on the display. No problemo. Well when I get out there to fix I turn it on to verify the error and the screen is just blank. There is nothing on the LCD display. Well...........I knew it had a battery problem so I repaired that, but still get nothing on the display. What I can I do to get this thing to even begin to boot up?
