Title: Wild Thing Simm
Post by: WILDCHERRY21 on March 19, 2013, 11:48:26 PM
Anybody know what has to happen or how you go about using a Wild Thing Simm in a S2000 on a different game that uses the generic 042 Simm. I would like to get the Wild Thing sounds when you push the buttons  :89
Thanks

There's a good chance you may not get any sounds off that simm using it on any title but Wild Thing. Most simms aren't universal that way

Yeah I tried with no luck, but the guy I had bought my machine from had it working on his Sizzling 7 machine. He said something about the SB Chip has to be a certain number and below. Im not sure what they are though.  But I witnessed it so it is possible:)

WILDCHERRY21 Post the SB chip you have in your game and if I have that one I will program a Wild Thing simm and see if it works.

You can only mix match Simms with SB numbers under SB100100 so the Siz 7 is a SB100087 and could be used with any Simm, not for the Double Sizzling 7 SB101030

It will work with a Double Diamond Deluxe and a Triple Double Diamond Deluxe I believe too.

At work now Buzz but its a Triple Double RWB currently in the machine. And no luck swapping with a Wild Thing Simm. It told me error on sound simm or something like that.  I will be swapping it with a Double Diamond Deluxe game this weekend. So that will be awesome if it works with the Wild Thing Simm.  :71-

I've confirmed that the following SB chips can work with different DSV SIMMs:

Double Diamond Deluxe 3CM:  SB100089
Crystal Sevens 3CM:  SB100097
Triple Stars, Triple Butterfly Sevens, Triple Red Hot Sevens, Triple Lucky Sevens (All 3CM):  SB100009

Check my YouTube page in my signature for examples.  Favorites are using the Wheel of Fortune and Megabucks SIMMs.

Hope this helps!

Jason

Just playing around and put a DSV00078 in a machine with a SB100448, sounded allright to me,
