Title: What system could I use on my GK 044 series VP? Post by: vpguy on March 20, 2013, 02:06:32 PM I'm pretty new to this, so excuse me if I don't know all the terminology.
I just got my Game King VP system which is running on an 044 MPU (with the daughter board and single base ROM) I'd like to have the machine accept it's own tickets so I can put credits on the machine easily. I've looked at the two TITO boards and may eventually put one of those in, but I also heard there were DIY options using a computer. You also need an RS-232/DB-9 cable re-wired to a 5-pin cable inside the machine (actually only uses 3 of the 5 wires). All of that's explained in these different topics. |
