Title: igt s2000 coin out jam but game has no hopper Post by: s2ntburd on March 21, 2013, 11:50:55 AM I Had turned the printer off on my igt s2000 crystal sevens slot machine and forgot to unpllug the cash out button. Well of course my son hit cash out and it is trying to pay out in coins threw a hopper which this machine does not even have. Now it says coin out jam and i cant figure out how to reset it. Is there any way to clear this or the credits so i can use the machine again or am i going to have to buy a clear key and run that?
Sorry if there is another post like this i tried looking but didnt see anything so please help... Did you disable it in the Key Chip menu or un-plug the power to it or etc? Did the machine ever have a hopper? If the machine was configured for coinless, ie no hopper, it shouldn't be giving a "coin out jam" error. Once you do clear the credits, you will want to make sure and configure the machine correctly to avoid this in the future :)
I think if you swap the SB chip like you were going to install a different game/kit and go through the normal errors - I think that clears all credits on a machine. The game has never had a hopper sense i owned it. Im just going to turn the printer back on so it prints but i guess becuase i turned it off some how it defualted to cash payout. I know what i have to do once its working again but my main problem is how to reset or clear it right now. So the only way is to get a clear chip 97 and run that?

Make sure you go back after it's running and set the hopper limit to zero
