Title: GK door open, can my board be faulted? Post by: CYRIL1973 on March 24, 2013, 10:31:28 AM Hi,
My GK is an old sttule one I assume, see pics. It worked fine, then cam a low battery tilt then a door open tilt. I checked every single locks but to no avail. Last thing, the board... Is there a pic somewhere of the bypass you're alluding to? You don't think the board could be half dead? I remember having the same problem on an S 2000, changing the board solved the problem. Do a search under "bypassing S2000 door optics" and you'll find more info than you need
Title: Re: GK door open, can my board be faulted? Post by: Buzz on March 24, 2013, 09:49:34 PM Run ONE wire from the Purple wire optics on the door side, to the Green optic wire on the cabnet side. Put a switch in the middle of the jumper wire. I do not like cutting wires so I just bare about 3/8 of a inch on both ends of the jumper wire, stick each end down in the molex plug and plug back together.
