One to 10 play quarter machine by intermark gaming international. it tells the players where they stand what they have and congratulates a winning hand Title: Re: Ever see a talking slot machine? Post by: shortrackskater on March 30, 2013, 10:02:57 PM I want this machine! Hmmmm...driving to local mountains Sunday...only need to go down dirt road into Apple Valley...catch the I15 and arrive in Vegas three hours later. Tempting.

The haul-off fee is (well, SHOULD be) $100... I know...I paid $40 for one that does all that except talk...but it makes a bunch of funny goofy sounds! Good enough for me! :72- Title: Re: Ever see a talking slot machine? Post by: OldReno on April 01, 2013, 01:41:02 AM I was a (very minor) member of a design team which built the first(?) talking poker and 21 machine, somewhere around 1979-80 I think it was. Just after the TI speech chips came out, we called it the Speakeasy. It was a thrill at the time, and I got to design the layout of systems in the cabinet, etc.
But in the end it's much ado about nothing, other than as a collectible I think. |
