Title: code 41 solved, and it was so simple. Post by: cfunni on April 01, 2013, 12:35:01 PM I have been getting my E-1202 5 reel machine going. After several problems, most lubrication, and reel reader problems, I got my machine working just fine. I was planning on letting everybody play on our Easter gathering. I turned it on and got a code 41 on every pull. Urggg. I shut it down and told everyone sorry, I thought I had it fixed but it was still a project. Sunday after everyone left I decided to try again. I pulled the assembly and re lubricated, changed readers, tested connectors, and still code 41. I was about to put a sheet on it just to get it out of sight. I tried one last pull and spotted something. The ribbon cable for the LED display had slipped down and was barely rubbing on reel 1. It was just enough to cause a code 41, but the reel was still spinning and I did not notice it. I readjusted where the ribbon cable sits and everything is just fine.
