Hello again. My  machine was only taking coins for the first line. After pulling the feature unit, I found that the N/C (step up?) switch was never making contact. After fixing the switch, I can manualy cycle the coin arm and get it to activate all three lines. When I try to run coins through it, only the first coin is accepted. Any ideas?

It sounds like your coin lockout coil (behind the coin acceptor) is losing power after 1st coin in, and keeping the machine from taking more coins.  If the lockout coil is off, it don't take coins.
I don't have a schematic, but here's how I recall it works:
The lockout coil is a parallel circuit.  There are 2 ways to turn it on and off, basically.
One of the switches (one side of this circuit) is normally closed, and opens up after you get the first coin inserted (when handle is released and ready to pull)  Yours is obviously working so don't worry about it.

The other side of the circuit is probably on your odds disc (see pics on above thread)  After your 3rd coin is inserted, the white gear tab physically opens the other side of the circuit, (a normally closed switch) thus killing power to the lockout coil, and keeping you from adding 4 coins to a 3 coin game.
After handle pull, the first part of the circuit re-closes physically, however the odds disc side does not re-close until the odds reset (which is after the next 1st coin is inserted and the odds disc physically resets.
Look around at your odds disc in the top unit, and manually push the step-up coil plunger, and the reset coil plunger while you look carefully at those switches on the side.  I bet your odds disc part of this circuit is staying open....  Look for a switch that is always open, that's probably the problem.  One side of the switch leaf should be longer, because that is the part that is pushed by the white tab on your white gear.  You should probably adjust the shorter switch, if the longer one seems to be moving when the odds disc steps up fully.

Thanks Reno, there is no doubt the coin relay is de-energizing after the first coin. .......Most of the time. After playing with it a bit, if I hurry coins through the slot, it will sometimes take all three lines. Sometimes a few times in a row. I have to go to work in a bit, so I will have to get you the pictures tomorrow. But one thing I have noticed, is that when it will take the second and third lines, it sounds like a "ding" when the coin drops.

Once again, you got me to the right spot. Once I got the switches set up right on the feature unit, it worked great.... For a while. The stepper coil is iffy, it might just be a cold solder, will find out tomorrow. Will also give you before and after pics of the switches. In the mean time, this is what the machine looks like.

A cleaned and correctly adjusted switch can work wonders.

I can use a reel glass just like that one if any one is looking  ..... Barry doesnt have one at the moment.
