Title: Universal slot machine Midas Touch. Error 41........ Help Post by: mcarlo1117 on April 12, 2013, 09:48:32 AM I have several different machines and I'm in the middle of redoing a 3 coin dollar token Midas Touch. I have a couple of issues i cant seem to figure out.
1- Error Code 41. I have tried everything I can think of but cant figure out why it keeps coming back. Every time the reels spin they wont stop and the code pops. I tried resetting, hard resetting and ram. I'm just not sure what is causing it. I moved this machine in November and it was fine. 2- When coin is entered I get no drop sound. Any help would be great and appreciated. Title: Re: Universal slot machine Midas Touch. Error 41........ Help Post by: uniman on May 01, 2013, 08:50:31 PM Missed this post! Sorry!
Error 41 is improper reel spin. Since reels keep spinning sounds like the mpu is not seeing the reel optic. Make sure your reel harness connectors are in the right place. Universal reel harnesses have four connectors even for the three reelers, so the last one on the right not used. As far as the coin in sound and the error 41, it seems like mpu trouble. Pull it out and make sure no coins fell in it shorting something out or behind the mpu wiring harness on back wall. I say this because I once had a fella who was trying to sell a faulty Universal, and it was a Midas Touch by coincidence, I pulled the board and a coin fell out of the mpu case. Did a ram clear and it was back to normal. He said he had just moved it and that caused the coins to dump out of the hopper. If you find nothing and it still fails, connect reel #2 to reel #1's socket and #1 to #2's socket. If error 41 comes back then it is most likely mpu problem, but if error 42 comes up, then it is the reel optic of reel #1. |
