Title: Dealing with "dealers"! Post by: Eaglekeeper on April 16, 2013, 01:54:22 AM I just want to let everyone know how much I love being screwed with a splintered 4X4 post that has been dipped in tar and then dipped in fragmented slate. I understand if you buy used items online, it's like playing roulette, you never know if you will win or lose. Either I have really bad luck or half the people I buy from have not F@&?ing clue as to what they are selling and just want to make a buck or they know exactly what they are selling and just want to take advantage of you and use thier new 4X4 post with tar and slate. I know there are a lot of vendors as well as individuals that frequent this forum to sell parats and I hope you read and take to heart what I type, for it is us, your customers, that keep you in business. This rant is not geared toward anyone in perticular. Over the last 6 weeks all that I have been trying to do is get my bill acceptor on my S+ working. Granted part was my fault for not knowing there was a difference between a DBV and WBA. But seriously, a few hundred dollars later, vendor cancelled orders, transports sent with a ID024 chip, received a fried power supply and a few s2k parts that dont really fit an S+ but will if you know how to "modify" them and I'm almost there. I'm hopefully only one step away from victory. All I have to do now is spend more money to get me a new ID023 EPROM for my WBA13. My only request is that if you are selling something, don't assume it might fit different machines, know without a doubt it will fit. And yes I feel better. :30-

It is just that the people who know what to sell you can't stay in business with the whores out here that think they know something about machines and parts and sell stuff cheap due to the fact they have no business. In 6 years it has went from sales and service to just sales in the used slot parts business and hell the reason the problem exist is because people are not called out. I get bitched out for not sending some orders quickly to some here but one thing is for sure, when you get it there is no doubt is will fit and work! but may be a dollar or 2 more than whorebay prices and no we don't give service with a smile, cussed out and hung up on possibly (well not really).... but hey what would you prefer in the end, good correct parts or wrong junk and a handjob? I will sell you the correct Eprom for a WBA-13 SS in a S+ that takes up to the new $10 (4 ways) but I would ask you to make sure you have a WBA-13 by sending or posting few pics Title: Re: Dealing with "dealers"! Post by: Eaglekeeper on April 16, 2013, 03:54:04 AM Ya know, I've read LOTS of posts on the forum and your name comes up a lot. It's has always been Jim is the best. Never any negatives. I would have loved to buy all my parts from you for that reason. But me being the typical American, l wanted instant gratification. What I mean by that is I've been accustomed to the click and ship sites that show misrepresented pictures of their inventory. I've been to your eBay page several times and there had always only been two items listed. I just assumed you had quit selling. Guess that was bad on my part. So I accept your offer. I have sent you the pics requested. If you need more let me know. I would also like to thank you for not only your support to me, but for all of us first timers that are ignorant to some issues that you have and will probably continue to help.

I'll second that. I just ordered a few games from Jim last week. He answered all my questions / concerns about getting the right things for my GK. He even answered some questions about a problem I was having with the machine that didn't concern him at all. Back in the day, that's how most business people were, now it's a rarity. Hey Jim, don't change with the times! Title: Re: Dealing with "dealers"! Post by: FORDSBS on April 16, 2013, 08:56:05 PM ME TOO!!! :212-

Title: Re: Dealing with "dealers"! Post by: knagl on April 17, 2013, 05:21:16 AM More positive feedback from me for Jim at Blue Ridge. I've had nothing but great transactions with him in the past, and he's helped countless folks here on NLG.

Post by: OldReno on April 17, 2013, 09:56:53 PM I originally thought this post was about snotty 21 dealers, and I wanted to jump in and defend my sweetie who has been dealing for 40 years. But I guess i don't have to after all.... Ha.

But for the record, the handjob is what you get from others that send bad or wrong parts and try to smooth it over with BS. We send the right part that works and therefore do no peter pumping |
