Title: Sigma uv1700 Coin In Optics? Post by: cfh on March 18, 2009, 09:43:00 AM So i have a couple Sigma 1700 slots up and running, but i can't play them!
I have no way to get money into the games. There were no bill validators or coin compartitors installed when i got them. What coin comparitor do these games use? The williams style CC-16d 12 volt Inhibit has the right connector. But the game will not register coins. And then i noticed, where are the coin-in optics?? Am i missing something here? Also the button/coin interface board has a red LED on it that is always flashing. I have a feeling that's not right either. Can someone please check their sigma uv1700 and post back? Thanks! I will check mine, but it is burried behind a bunch of machines, maybe Kirk has his more handy.

Dan (tacman) Title: Re: Sigma uv1700 Coin In Optics? Post by: a69mopar on March 18, 2009, 01:10:16 PM You'll notice that the manual doesn't say cc16 at all.

Title: Re: Sigma uv1700 Coin In Optics? Post by: paul on March 18, 2009, 03:30:42 PM The machines take MC40 12vdc w inhibit or compatable the coin optics is black and right below the compairitor in back has 2 wires to it usualy a red green and a green red

So all the micro comparitors i have are from Wms slots, and have a different connector. Do you think if i re-wire the connector these MC40 comparitors will work in the sigma? (No sense wire on sigma.) (http://www.pinrepair.com/slots/sigma/microcompar1.jpg) (http://www.pinrepair.com/slots/sigma/sig_cc_pinout2.jpg) Title: Re: Sigma uv1700 Coin In Optics? Post by: cfh on March 18, 2009, 11:27:34 PM OK i made an adaptor cable and used the Wms MC40.
It works, kind of. I get a "generic coin-in tilt", and must open and close the coin door on every coin drop. It does however register the credit. so although laborious, i have been able to play a couple pulls. i guess that's progress. maybe i need the exact right MC40 (and not the williams one)? |
