Title: BV light power source Post by: lindam1 on April 18, 2013, 10:39:55 PM I can't seem to find the power source the BV light on the feed bezel. It looked like it came from one of the I/O boards on the door, so I tried other ones to no avail. Any thoughts ??

second part is the status signal sent from the bill acceptor to turn these lamps on. pins 3 and 4 of the connector. these come from the connector on the back of the bill acceptor assembly. there should be three connectors, some have four, the two pin connector is the power for the BV, the 5 pin connector is the NETPLEX data, you are concerned with the four pin connector, it should only have two wires on it , black/yellow and yellow black, these two wires carry the status signal over to the lamp board. basically, you have power on the one side of the lamps, the status signal turns on Q-1 and provides a ground to the other side of the lamps to turn them on. Hope this helps Jim Title: Re: BV light power source Post by: lindam1 on April 19, 2013, 04:01:32 PM Jim Thanks. some day you feel like the dullest knife in the drawer. Unplugged at BV
