Any body have the monsters theme? :88- is this supposed to be normal.? The "BAT" symbol its very dark can't see thu the back light.
BTW.. I bought it from E I,and they did it so fast i mailed the ck out last Thur~fri~sat~sun~-and monday FedEx show up around12:00 pm with my package from E I..~~wow~wee~~they did it so fast[maybe that's what wrong] the glass look good.!!!!!!!!  :96-

I am interested in knowing the answer to this also. I though they did light up, but not sure.

Yes, they do light up as a dark brown on original backlit strips.
btw, It's the Munsters, not the monsters. :71-

Just checked a set I just got in and yes the bat is backlit as well in purple. Check to see if they did a cutout of the black backing for that symbol or if they just printed it in black.

I have the Munsters theme in my S+
While I don't have the benefit of back lighting the image shown does give the inclination to see what this theme would look like with Black Light rather than the usual florescent.

The S+ Version is not the same as the S2K, the S2K uses a 5X multiplier theme

ps. to the complaint dept lookers, we all know you could put the S+ theme in the S2K, but that defeats the real purpose of having the theme in a S2K

So is the S+ Brown and S2K Purple?...Is that a way to tell the difference?  :103- :103- :103-

All the munsters I've played at the casino have dark purple bats, which may look brown to some people

There is no S+ version of The Munsters, it was an S2000 title.  It just so happens that the paytabe and the reel strip configuration (when offset) is identical to an S+ theme called Wild 5x Pay.  So ALL Munsters kits are S2000 kits.  Some of us not lucky enough to have S2K's use it on our S+ by using the reel offset trick.
The bats are purple.

Incidentally here are closeups of where the "reel offsets" should be.
On the second image you can see where the original notches are.

Actually there was, it is not based on the 5X, there were a few games made by IGT with the same themes as Pre S-2K (or known as Vision Ready) that were offered, Munster's and IDOJ were a few I remember I got from Stations properties around 2002-4, yes they used SS software, the IDOJ is just Dbl Dia if I remember, no offset, the Munsters has a darker green color in the S+ version, I will look up what SS it cloned off of

Black Cherry clone, the darker glass is S+ version, the lighter is just for comparison, this is the same as I remember, but the quality of this S+ repro sucks, that is why it is still here

update/OK,i talked to EI, today she said we only have one file for that theme and the BAT supposed to be normal/dark ..she asked the guy in art dept,..lol...But..She will send me another set..[cool]..cause other issue they did a poor quality and miss align..   :96-  :97-

BTW..i always tell my customers don't use aftermarket part..lol.. i work in a car dealer   :88-
