Post by: SlotFreak on May 10, 2013, 11:51:52 PM
i have a bally 6000 monte carlo that worked fine but sat for about 9 months while i built my man cave for it to go in. now the machine is coming up with 91-0 error code. im aware that it is a communication problem with the progressive but how do i go about fixing it?  any help would be much appreciated. thank you in advance.

If you check the voltage on the memory battery inside the progressive controller I think you'll find that it is low. If that's the case you will have to change it then reprogram the progressive controller to your desired values

Hello SlotFreak and  :238-

Can you tell us is the progressive meter/display still showing the last $ amount
when you stored the machine ?

Or are you getting $0.00 with a C1 error or garble backwards #
which would mean you have a dead battery on the progressive board
as the other members stated.

Did you happen to disconnect anything
or move the machine around ?

Please post some pictures of the progressive
and machine for us to see.

Tim

BTW: The player button deck wouldn't happen to be flashing would it ?

Just check the voltage on the battery in the progressive controller located in the top box by the speakers and see if it's low. Let us know...
