Title: bally 1034 lucky 777 runaway hopper on any and all wins Post by: jacker on May 11, 2013, 10:46:51 PM This Bally model 1034 is really in good condition, however all of a sudden the hopper is running away on any and all wins.
Will start the pay on both left to right and right to left pay's. The only way to stop it is to trip the coin in micro switch. What to do? The other part of the question is: where can I find a manual designated for this machine or is there one? I have the "owner's Pictorial Guide" But nowhere does it address this unit. The first thing to do in any mispay is to see where the payboard wiper fingers ended up. Does it just do this on one coin played? Title: Re: bally 1034 lucky 777 runaway hopper on any and all wins Post by: jacker on May 13, 2013, 12:18:23 AM It is staying down ( against the rubber stop ) Looks like it never moved. It does this on any amount of coins played.
I think I said before that the only to reset is by tripping the coin micro switch. Thanks for your quick response Title: Re: bally 1034 lucky 777 runaway hopper on any and all wins Post by: David B Fowler on May 13, 2013, 07:16:06 AM I had a wiper that would not advance because it was stuck to the rubber stop.

Title: Re: bally 1034 lucky 777 runaway hopper on any and all wins Post by: OldReno on May 13, 2013, 02:51:55 PM Pull the hopper out and make sure your step up solenoid that steps the payboard will physically step it. This is to see that it's not binding or stuck....
Check this post for a little more on hoppers. http://newlifegames.net/nlg/index.php?topic=19448.0 maybe it will help somewhat. Title: Re: bally 1034 lucky 777 runaway hopper on any and all wins Post by: jacker on May 13, 2013, 09:15:11 PM Thank you all. I did try everyones suggestions. It was just a mechanical problem. Fixed and playing good. Know anyone that wants a Bally Lucky 777 ?
Located in Texas. Thanks Title: Re: bally 1034 lucky 777 runaway hopper on any and all wins Post by: RiseLikeRa on May 15, 2013, 12:42:03 AM Well what WAS the problem?
Title: Re: bally 1034 lucky 777 runaway hopper on any and all wins Post by: jacker on May 15, 2013, 11:31:24 AM The counting rocker arm was not rocking far enough to engage the lever on the plastic cogged wheel. ( Would not turn it). I bent the tab on the knife up just enough to allow the nickel to push the roller and scoop leg up just a little more. I like to find out why something happened but this one I can not figure why it happened.
Title: Re: bally 1034 lucky 777 runaway hopper on any and all wins Post by: David B Fowler on May 15, 2013, 02:31:16 PM It got bumped while it was out of the machine or while it was being put back in...... Maybe?

Glad you got it fixed. |
