Title: Static in sound output Post by: vapormountain on May 12, 2013, 11:06:20 AM Have this older , 1997 I game round top that has a lot of static out the speaker ( like a bad input connection) especially after start up for the first 5 minutes then quiets down some . The sound levels are very low even after being turned all the way up in the menu. Anyone else have and solve this problem? If I could find the amp I would be further along, anyone know where it is in this type?

I would probly first checkout the speaker first if it isn't the speaker my next guess would be the MPU board or sound board if it has one on the MPU.

Now I didn't say no ground, I said bad groung where the light bulb flashes on and off.
