Title: Bally E 2000 Series Coin Diverter Coil Post by: monkeescollector on May 28, 2013, 06:34:33 PM Hello, I have 2 questions about my Bally E2000 Series Coin Diverter Coil:
1). Why does it buzz and rattle the coin diverter chute when it is in the ready for coin mode. It rattles up and down makes a loud noise until I insert a coin. 2). What is this wire supposed to attach to? It appears to go to the far left side of the switch. The bare one with the resistor. Did it come loose from the left side of my diverter coil when I removed the coil? Thanks, Phil Title: Re: Bally E 2000 Series Coin Diverter Coil Post by: tkrozleski on May 28, 2013, 10:29:53 PM The end of that resistor connects to the gray wire on the coil. If not using the divert coil, Snip the Orange wire on the coil and insulate it. Not having the divert plate on the coil may cause the coil to overheat and short out.

all I get is a hum some times. Title: Re: Bally E 2000 Series Coin Diverter Coil Post by: monkeescollector on May 29, 2013, 12:01:50 AM Thank you. It has one one it, but maybe it needs to be stronger.
