Title: S Plus reel music not playing Post by: Gusco on May 29, 2013, 08:50:08 PM I am not getting any reel music playing on my RWB. All i get is the reel stop clicking sound and credit ding. I tried rocking the number 3 dip switch with no luck. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.
Title: Re: S Plus reel music not playing Post by: knagl on May 30, 2013, 02:46:48 AM It depends on the SP chip in your machine as to how you enable/disable the reel spin music (some SP chips use the DIP switches, others ignore the DIP switch setting and use a setting in the self-test menu).
What SP chip is in your machine? I had it set to not play music because i was in a small 1 bedroom apartment. But have since bought a 3 bedroom home with basement and have recently got back into the hobby cause i have room for my game room now.

Can you please look at the PSR for your game and see what it says about reel spin sounds? With a SP chip number that high, I can say with about 95% confidence that it would be a setting in the self test menu, and not something you can change with the DIP switches.

Now i have got to figure out how to use my set 15 to get my dBV working again and win to credit set. ill make a new post. thanks again. glad to be back in the hobby. been away for three years now. bad divorce. she got the house. but she didnt get my toys damit. lol
