Title: Bally S6000 With Error 88FF Post by: colorado on June 08, 2013, 10:58:04 PM I just put a new power supply in a Bally S6000 and I'm getting
an 88FF Err. Based on everything I have read I have to do a clear. Previously I have only worked on S5500 machines, of Which the boards had a jumper pin that needed to be moved in order to clear. I am reading the S6000 requires clear chips. Does anyone know if this is true with all S6000 boards or how I would be able to tell if I would need the chips. If the chips are required, does anyone happen to have them for sale Respectfully , Colorado Title: Re: Bally S6000 With Error 88FF Post by: DF777 on June 21, 2013, 10:02:21 PM You would probably be better off getting the leave in mains/clears,then all you need to do is move # 8 on DS1.
The procedure is in the S6000 manual that is in the NLG File Systems "Downloads" The chips are available from the NLG vendors.
