Title: Re: Is this a setting? Post by: jstraa on March 22, 2009, 07:37:13 PM And my cut wires ... will ask about that and my right speaker not functioning in the s2000 thread
Title: Re: Is this a setting? Post by: jstraa on March 22, 2009, 07:40:45 PM A little more info, got it friday, almost instantly I swapped the RWB with the 5x pay, which is much nicer!
WBA is euro which is nice if you live in europe :P As mentioned right speaker doesn't work and there are 4 cut wires. (and the guy said it was perfect) Is there a S2000 manual that I can download anywherer here? Title: Re: Is this a setting? This is normal if you don't have an amp in the top box, you only get mono sound out of one speaker on an S2000 this way. Title: Re: Is this a setting? Backlighting is too. Title: Re: Is this a setting? Post by: jstraa on March 22, 2009, 08:08:59 PM What does it look like ? Do you have a pic?

Title: Re: Is this a setting? Post by: jstraa on March 22, 2009, 08:41:19 PM For the rest ... I think I got the amp ... how can I check why my right speaker isn't working ?
Can i check for current btween both wires? Title: Re: Is this a setting? Post by: dpalmi on March 22, 2009, 09:51:04 PM Hello!
Yes...the board on the right is the amp. FYI - the board in the middle is a Netplex Distribution board. I don't think the cut wires are affecting your sound - the sound I believe comes from the wires/plugs on the left side of your picture. That's how they are in my machine. There are six wires at the bottom plug. 13 & 25 vdc with grounds going to the netplex board and the other two wires, 13v power for the amp Believe there are two different types of wire harness and some get the power from the left plug and others the right. maybe the other one I had was just carved up :30- Title: Re: Is this a setting? Post by: Railroad94 on March 22, 2009, 11:43:42 PM Looking at it more I would still check power but looks like the wires that are cut would be for the plug for your backlit reel controller board
Title: Re: Is this a setting? Post by: ChrisColumbus on March 23, 2009, 05:52:35 AM you have 2 "pots" on your machine.. as seen in the picture.... they are for lowering the "feedback" when there machine probably had backlit reels previously installed.. check to make sure that the wires Green/white going from the amp (on the right) to the right speaker have not come lose from the pots... they are VERY EASY to be pulled off of the "pots" also have you tried to turn up the sound from the "pots" it may just be turned down all the way.. the green/white wires come off the amp into a 2 plug then into the "pots" before going into the speaker... the "pot" may be bad as well..
Title: Re: Is this a setting? Post by: idesign on March 23, 2009, 09:22:04 AM Better yet, just disconnect the pots, twist the wires together and see if that fixes the problem.
