I have couple of UBA-11-SS bill acceptors with 8MB EPROM on them, however i can not download the latest software for the new euro bills. The UBA Dowloader stops at 11% and it just stays there. Is it safe to erase the EPROM and just program it with the new software or is there another way? Thanks. Title: Re: UBA 11 SS Post by: kondy73 on August 28, 2013, 04:24:19 PM UBA downloader is not intended for UBA-11, because this model used only EPROM it is not possible electrical erase. Downloader is suitable only for models with FlashROM (UBA-10,12,13,14 and 24).
So in the UBA-11 it is necessary EPROM remove from UBA, erase via UV eraser and programing in a chip programmer outside the UBA (use firmware .bin file format suitable for UBA-10 downloader) and then put back into the UBA.
