Title: Backlit reel behavior on different games Post by: hotrod777 on June 15, 2013, 10:10:51 AM Just curious.
I only have 2 kits that I can compare, but is there any specific way to tell how kit will behave? I have a 3c triple lucky 7 kit that the reels only light up when a payable hit lands, or the top award symbol lands on the first reel along with the 'ding'. The 2c triple cash (that came in the machine) lights up the first reel (at a steady brightness) with ANY symbol, and continues across reels 2 &3 if a payable combo is developing. The ding is heard if the triple symbol lands or a low tone 'bump' for any other symbol. Once a pay is hit, the reel light flutter flash like normal. I highly favor the triple cash machine's behavior and if possible would like to know if there is any what to know what a kit will do while shopping around for new kits. Certain themes provide you with all the bells and whistles that you and I like. Unfortunately, there aren't a boatload of these themes. I have a Double Hearts that does exactly what your Triple Cash does. I also have triple double themes that continue dinging and donging if the red seven lands on the first reel. Triple Crystal sevens is another.
If Yoeddy1 chimes in, he can help you more than me. He's a sound guru. He's tried them ALL it seems! Anything that may lead to a pay lights up and makes noise, even for those little pays.
