Title: Computer crash
Post by: FORDSBS on June 19, 2013, 08:18:42 PM
Had a bad 2 days. Yesterday my computer crashed.  :208- :208- :279- Went & got a new one. I was lucky, I saved most of my stuff.
I had my business on it , all my contacts & slot stuff. About the only thing I did not recover so far is my contacts. I could
have been a lot worse. My program for burning chips does not like Windows 8. I know when I put it on 7 there was a problem but I don't remember what I did to get it working.

Talk about old school. I still put XP pro on every machine I build, Home, business, everything and never have issues.

Oh man, after you already bought a new one...bummer. Well, now you have a dedicated computer for your EPROM burner.

Yep. I could not wait to get it working for Body Shop, had to keep moving along. Now I'll use old for slots.
