Title: S2000 - How to change the two batteries (Photos and video !)
Post by: Nurbo on July 12, 2013, 07:46:55 PM
Hi,

After having had an error message : « MAIN BATTERY LOW », I ordered two new batteries.

Finally, it was the coin cell battery that was involved, which corresponds to the "MAIN BATTERY LOW"

Because I would have to make a clear ram, I took the opportunity to replace the green batteries, which had a few traces of oxidation.

You must remove the motherboard, it is in a metal rack in the bottom left of the machine.

Just to work correctly, it is necessary to remove the multimedia card, circled in red. On my multimedia card, there was no screws, it was just enough to pull gently.

It is then necessary to remove the 7 screws which maintain the motherboard and 2 metallic support. It is not compulsory to remove the motherboard of the tray, but that allows to work more quietly.

And for more details and because I needed my 2 hands to solder, I propose you, always with a mediocre camcorder, these explanations in video on YouTube
