Title: Reel em in Post by: therockinelvis on July 18, 2013, 04:56:00 PM I just got this machine and it was missing it's bill validater. I put a known good dbv 200 in it. Every bill I insert is returned with a duh dum sound. Do I need to set something. I am assuming it is something like the IGT, with maybe having to turn the bvd on or setting limits. I read on here about setting hopper to 9999 to end handpay. Does that make it pay wins to hopper or will the machine then take up to 9999 credits before it pays out? This Williams is definitely a different animal. I love the IGT formats. There is also a topper on it. It has a 8 pin plugs with 2 wires, that go for the chase lights. Does it plug into the side of the power supply at any plug that fit's?

Title: Re: Reel em in Post by: dale on July 18, 2013, 06:50:00 PM Make sure the head is secure and all the wiring is snug.
You BV will not accept bills if it goes over the hopper limit. I set mine at 9999 with the Partial at 0000.( My preference). One good thing about the WMS 40X is you can do this with credits on the machine so you can test your limits for Hopper amounts to pay or to go to hand pay. You should also go in and make sure all the bill denominations are enabled. Title: Re: Reel em in Post by: idesign on July 18, 2013, 07:05:28 PM It is one I took out of Piggy Bankin. I do know better than that. If you would have stated that to begin with you may get better responses. Your requests for help are too cryptic to begin with. Your 1.00 denomination is off so the rest may be off also. When you get to the 1 in credit window and off in win meter use your spin button to change the off to on.Then use the JP key to move to 2 change to on (2.00 bill), then 5, 10, 20, 50 and 100. Try that . your volumes may be high ( snd 1, snd2 and snd3), try setting them to 003 Title: Re: Reel em in Post by: therockinelvis on July 18, 2013, 10:51:04 PM Thanks Dale. I will do it in the morning. Sounds fairly easy. I will let you know how I make out.
